There’s a band from the UK you should know. And they’re called The Fleas. But unlike a flea, they are not annoying! The opposite, in fact – otherwise what would be the point of this premiere?

From their forthcoming EP titled Telling Tales,  the fun little single “Free” is um, carefree sounding. Actually I think its quite fun. And its a free download. So what are you waiting for? But anyway, the band shares a love of the 80s, which comes out subtly in their sound, which isn’t at all the stereotypical 80s new wave but instead funky folk mixed with indie pop. Indeed, I could see John Mellencamp bobbing his head to this alongside Marcus Mumford.
