We’re pleased to premiere “Make Us Soldiers,” the new single from Columbus doom rockers Minnows. Written during a Black Lives Matters protest and inspired by acts like Fugazi and Drive Like Jehu, “Make Us Soldiers” is an urgent, rapid-fire track that goes right for the jugular. Overdriven bass and martial drums pull the track forward like warhorses leading a chariot of winding guitar lines and direct vocals. It’s a great blend of punk urgency, doomy grit, and plenty of pop sensibilities to go around.

Look for their debut album, Foreign Moon, later this fall.
