The Dangerous Summer – Gravity

The Dangerous Summer try to envisage a revolution and a resolution to their pain, and their record Gravity purposefully pulls at the emotions, while the band focus on a future that may be impacted by technological mishaps and war. The act sound angry on this LP too, gifting us with flair and imagination beyond the norm.

Gravity has some of the most compelling lyrics running throughout it, and lead singer AJ Perdomo sings with grit and determination, proving his worth as a grade A lyricist and buoyant vocalist. From the start, the album diligently explores mental health, broken memories, space, cut optimism, and we’re here for it.

Musically, the band draws on honesty and bravery. They push the guitar sound up a notch and the melodic underpinnings are fundamental and gracious. AJ Perdomo’s voice compliments these shuddering instrumentals with ease, and he opens up, delivering his signature rasp.

There are 12 songs on Gravity. One of the most infectious songs is Gravity. Perdomo sings and shows his scars, turning heads, and the song properly echoes sad moments. The chorus bursts into an energetic segment.

Turning Love Into War naturally sparks fury. Perdomo sings again, while feeling dejected, and the lyrics are stricken with pessimism. Though this is true, the man knows how to write inspirational text.

Clouds In My Eyes flurries in and generates somberness. Lyrically, the band has struck gold, and that background noise compliments the words. It’s a hard-hitting contribution, and Perdomo sounds cut up.

The Dangerous Summer has broken through the norm and has delivered an inspiring LP that is profound.
