TesseracT – War of Being

When the daylight dies, the darkness imposes like a phantom, pushing its victim to the edge, breaking him down to near dust. Hope relies on peace, but when it all comes to a halt, it seems like everything is going to be pulverised into small pieces and left to rot. Battles always ensue, and fighting might be the only way to even things out in such a divided world.

TesseracT is a band on the ropes, though they’re showing sheer determination to put the pain to rest, that agony that has burrowed in. Their music has this appeal, because it has a heart and a seamless groove, making for a convincing listen. The instrumentals are loud and well made too, putting the band into a technical frame.

Life has taken its toll, but the band is swooping for what’s left of desire, and on War Of Being, they have equipped themselves well, using their talents as statements. As the album flows, you’ll begin to fall into the melodies and the sorrow, feeling the atmosphere grow.

9 songs make up this album. Echoes is a thunderous track describing shame and the stronghold depression can have. Confronting the truth is a task in its own right, and the band must face it head-on. Those guitar riffs are golden.

Tender opens up with subtle composure. It’s a softer track exuding such emotion, though the band is driven to deliver different styles. It resonates on a high level, pushing the band’s diversity skywards. Sirens begins with subtle instrumentals. Those lyrics are supreme, giving us an insight into band’s thought process. The song eventually lifts, and it becomes inspirational.

TesseracT is a band feeling downhearted by the world, though their music has the energy to push us forward.
