TUNED UP: How long have you been playing under the name Tetherr?

Antigone: Since I was 13. The idea of being tethered to something always struck me as beautiful.

TUNED UP: Where did the name come from?

Antigone: I felt very disconnected from everything and everyone. It came from the fear of never being attached but always wanting to be.

TUNED UP: Your music feels very chilled out, whats your process / approach to songwriting?

Antigone: I write music when my emotions are too intense to handle. I wouldn’t neccesarily call it a process. Its more like I’m vomiting out words and then trying to make it sound listenable. There’s no consistant order of things.

TUNED UP: I’ve listened through your sound cloud extensively, do you have music elsewhere?

Antigone: Yeah, I have a few songs on bandcamp and YouTube.
