Better Anyway is a five-piece pop-punk/emo band from Dayton, Ohio. They formed in 2018, and in that time, they have released 2 EPs on their own and a few singles. Over the years, they have played festivals such as Bummer Brews Fest, Holidayton, and the first Ohio Is For Lovers. They also have shared the stage with bands such as Grayscale, Homesafe, Better Off, Youth Fountain, and countless others.
“Detriment” is not a new song. It was one of the first songs they wrote as a band and was on their first EP. It quickly became an anthem and one of their most popular songs. So why re-record it? Vocalist Nick Burkhard states, “We have grown so much over the past five years as songwriters and performers. This song deserved to be re-recorded for that reason and since it’s the most beloved by everybody”.

I saw Better Anyway open for Bilmuri last year. They’re SICK!
Right!!!! So good. In the time they have been a band, I’ve only missed two Columbus shows. They are a band that I always catch live when they come to town. Always a great show.
