I don’t recall the exact date, but I remember one day receiving a random text message from Jared Condon at work. In the text was a link to a Dropbox audio file. He asked for my opinion, but demanded I keep the song and the circumstances around it a secret.

This song was part of a process that would culminate in a new project titled EUVOIA.

EUVOIA is a word from the Greek that loosely translates as beautiful thinking. Thus, all fans/friends of EUVOIA henceforth will be referred to as “beautiful thinkers.”

Obviously, Condon didn’t arrive at the idea to transition Graceful Closure into EUVOIA lightly. Oh yeah, I should have mentioned—Jared has been a long time friend of Tuned Up via his endeavors with Graceful Closure. A music video for a song called “Trippin'” feels like a fitting way to usher in this new era for the performer from Columbus. We all feel like we’re kind of stumbling through life most of the time, but we need to find beauty in the chaos—to embrace our own beautiful thinking.

“Trippin'” is a pop song at its core. It’s whimsical and fun. Watching the music video reminds me a bit of Owl City in its aesthetic—playful and quirky. Stream it below:
