I first heard of everett, from Medford, Oregon from my friend and excellent musician Kevin Schlereth. He always manages to hook up with some solid undiscovered talent on his tours, and on one occasion he brought along everett (not capitalized on purpose) and Sounds of Satellites.
The group has won over valuable fans in alt/emo band Everyone Leaves, who are quickly rising up the ranks in their genre and scene cred. Now, everett is set to embark on their biggest tour yet, supporting talk-rockers Listener alongside Levi the Poet, and post-rock leaning hard hitters Comrades.
Tuned Up is honored to host the exclusive premiere of “Shouldn’t Have To Be This Way,” the lead single off their EP Vague, which will be out October 20th. As of today (September 12th), the band has preorders for the EP available on their website.
