Citizens, Impending doom, The Choir, and a Rich Mullins Tribute evening head memorable lineup

The faith and arts festival in Urbana, IL is back for its tenth edition. July 4th through 7th, expect to be wowed by awesome bands and community!

Headliners making their first appearance at the festival include Citizens, Spoken, Symphony In Peril, The Protest, Spoken and With Blood Comes Cleansing. Returning headliners this year include Andy Squyres, John Van Deusen, The Ongoing Concept, The Choir, Glenn Kaiser and Impending Doom.

Additionally, UTR Media out of Nashville will present an evening of songs and stories paying tribute to the late Rich Mullins. Headlining that evening will be Rich’s own brother David Mullins, along with Brothers McClurg and Johan Glidden.

Also new to the festival this year is an evening of local hip hop, curated by Champaign, IL based V8 Vast Change.

Other new experiences on the grounds include Inkwell (A Morning of Arts and Ideas) presented by Ekstasis Magazine (affiliated with Christianity Today), and an art gallery curated by The Novelty Collective. The Park children’s area will also have a fresh lineup of entertainment and activities for families with littles (and not-so-littles!).

We at Tuned Up are curating two days, with the aforementioned Impending Doom, Citizens, John Van Deusen, Spoken, and With Blood Comes Cleansing. Additionally, we booked the following artists:

  • Badlands, an emerging indie rock/pop project from Nashville
  • Before There Was Rosalyn, southern metalcore
