A horror-inspired band. What kind of sound do you imagine? Gothic or black metal right? Well, “shame on you” as Michael Scott might say! We don’t really want to shame you, but Grave Robber are here to break your preconceived notions of what kind of sound might go with dark imagery.
Grave Robber, along with Leper, have been a fringe band that I have been aware of since my teenage years of reading up on festival lineups on the Christian summer circuit. I got to know the band further on the blog Indie Vision Music through interviews with Wretched, whom we are fortunate to have join us virtually below.
Anyway, if you have a love for the macabre and rowdy punk anthems, you should find lots to love about Grave Robber. They play a late night set at Audiofeed and should be a fun time. I wonder if there will be any fake blood.

Wretched: New York City. I’d want to play with Alice Cooper, Blackie Lawless (W.A.S.P.), Saviour Machine, White Collar Sideshow, Leper, and Rackets And Drapes at their peak!
What is your favorite music released this year thus far? What are you looking forward to?
I’m pretty biased but our labelmates Forfeit Thee Untrue have just put out a KILLER album! So has Skald In Veum. I’m really looking forward to the new releases by Death Requisite and Hand Of Fire!
What summer movie are you most looking forward to?
Ahhh. . . you know. . . all the big super hero blockbusters. Anything epic!
Assume I know NOTHING about your band. In one sentence, why should I listen to you?
We write good songs chocked with scriptural truth all wrapped up in a fun creepy package!
Who on the Audiofeed lineup are you most stoked about this year and why?
One Bad Pig. They are legends. Plus getting to see Leper (whom I’ve seen an amazing amount of times, but will always continue to see!). Our labelmates Hand Of Fire are coming in from California and labelmates Death Requisite are coming from Florida. Our familia, Deborah whom we’ve toured all over Mexico with are coming up from Mexico City, so to see them is always incredible!
If your band had a mission statement, what would it say?
We’re gonna scare the HELL out of you!
What band from your area do more people need to hear? That most Audiofeed attendees (and beyond) would not have heard of.
The Protest is pretty darned good! Check out Send The Advocate, too!
What song do you hear and you immediate think “Summer!”?
Anything by The Ramones
What is something you’ve been learning on your life or faith journey lately?
How to love the unlovable more deeply and that sometimes it’s ok to love people from afar. Also, trusting God’s provision more than my own.
