This cathartic album by Talk aka Nicholas Durocher is a masterclass in storytelling and that narrative spin is compelling, to say the least. Across the whole album, he pinpoints times when love is strained, and when he’s on the edge, preparing to fix himself before anything terrible happens.

Run Away To Mars starts with an acoustic chime and deep vocals. The lyrics are beautiful here, and Talk has put his all into this song. That chorus blends in well, and its subtle all-round.  Wasteland opens with commanding vocals and Talk conveys his sharp thoughts. It’s a rousing song, perfectly designed by an artist who is forward-thinking and fearless.
