We’re proud to present the first listen to Cleveland-based Vanishing Shores’ new single, “Up All Night”, which will be included on their forthcoming live album Dead Language. The song showcases a vintage sort of sound, and its live approach gives it even more of a classic vibe. Read more about the track and listen below.
Like so many musicians, COVID almost immediately removed the opportunity to connect with a live audience. During that time we continued to write and produce new music, but we longed for the day when we could return to a local venue and sing at the top of our lungs with a community of friends and supporters. While we had not originally anticipated releasing the recording of the live show, we were struck by how energetic it was and it was almost like discovering the love of an audience for the first time again. Because of this, we decided to share it as a tribute to our supporters. It is a testament to the power of music and art to survive and even thrive in even the most difficult of circumstances. May we never lose the feeling of joy, hope, and empowerment that comes with sharing one’s journey in song before a live audience. That connection can never be duplicated or replaced.
