Video Premiere: Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son

There’s no argument that New Jersey’s most iconic cultural export is the Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen. His unmistakable brand of rock and roll combined passionate blue-collar desperation and wide-eyed optimism in a way that touched your gut as well as your heart.

New Jersey alt rockers Bobby Mahoney and the Seventh Son channel that same working ethic with a strong jolt of punk rock energy, as seen in the video for their track “Take What You Can Get.” The song is a protest song against the rise-and-grind gig culture that has found the new working class monetizing every aspect of their waking lives.

“Take What You Can Get” is from the band’s EP We Go On, available now.
