A TUNED UP EXCLUSIVE: NEW LANGUAGE – HOUSE OF CARDS

If you are a regular follower of Tuned Up or of myself then you know that music is my world. I eat, sleep, and breathe music. It’s what I know. So when I get a hold of something new I dive right in, and that is the case with “House of Cards” by New Language. This track is crazy good. Speaking of crazy, the crazy thing is I had no idea what to expect from this song as this band is new to me, but after listening to this song a few hundred times, I am a fan. And you will be as well.

The aspect that sticks out the most is this track can’t be stuffed into one genre, as it is all over the place and that alone is a great thing to be in today’s industry. This will give them more opportunities. It’s almost like a dance rock track with a dash of pop thrown in for good measure. All I know is it works. One moment you might be bobbing your head, and the next you could be dancing. This is a very fun, contagious track—one that I have caught myself humming and singing all week.

This LA-based group are building an army. Since their start in 2015, they have already played Warped as well as opened for The Used, Will Haven, Papa Roach, and more. And on July 18th they are playing the KROQ Locals Only show. New Language is a name you should get used to seeing, as you will be seeing more of it in the coming years.
