Music videos have always fascinated me since I was very young. The idea of syncing a short film with a song or watching the band or artist perform it in the most random and creative ways kept me in wonder, and I grew up to appreciate a lot the art and craft of video music.
So for the first time, I’m curating a list with some of my favorite music videos of the year. Yes, the list is borderline arbitrary (as is any list publications put out), but I do have a few requirements the videos must meet: Good pacing, timing, and overall vibe. There’s awesome songs whose videos didn’t make the list and vice-versa.
