Worst Kept Secret Fest VI preview: Eternally Dizzy

When I first saw the name of this band pop up I assumed it was an electronic project, given that they were playing the same bill on a night where Jesse Cale announced an impromptu electronic set at Carabar. Not so! But – they are still good. You didn’t think Tuned Up would chat about any old local, would you? Well, in case you didn’t know, this trio features Andre Vanderpool from Sleep Fleet, Joe Camerlego from Van Dale, and Jeremy Skeen of Mary Lynn’s backing band (also playing WKSF VI). Their online debut was deemed worthy of a feature on the esteemed Stereogum, so you know its good. Here’s Andre with this go-around of our WKSF Q&A:

Tuned Up: What beverage goes best with a live performance from you guys?.

Andre Vanderpool (Eternally Dizzy): Mountain Dew & Coke, just to get the kids bouncing off the walls.

What’s the most interesting environment you’ve played in?
I would say St. Patrick’s Day at the Ottawa Tavern in Toledo.
What’s the most memorable show you’ve attended as a spectator?
I would say the album release/last This is my Suitcase show was pretty memorable.

The Fall.
