Over the years we at Tuned Up have called a few bands Tuned Up bands. One band that truly has become that is Heroes like Villains. The Columbus 5 piece pop punk have been long time supporters of us and us of them. I honestly cannot count the times we have covered them, be it the review of their debut EP, a review of their ep release show or including them in our 60 bands to watch in 2016. This is a band we believe in.

One of the things we like to do here at Tuned Up is Q&A’s with artists playing festivals. We have done this with a few different ones. So when Heroes like Villain were announced for Sophomore Slump Fest in North Carolina I knew a Q&A was in order, as they have never been interviewed by us. And let me tell you it was one of the most entertaining interviews/Q&As in the history of the world. Lead singer David Butler and Rhythm guitarist/screamer Josh Willis had me in tears by the end, so I hope you guys and gals enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing it.

Heroes like Villains: Kid Liberty, Broadside, Action/Adventure (it’s going to be cool to hang with them again. We did a weekend run with them recently), and Sharptooth. We see Sharptooth’s name a lot on social media, so it’ll be cool to see them in person.
