Premiere: Come Wind – Blessing (Brightest London Remix)

By Ryan G

Come Wind have been a part of the Tuned Up story for a long time. So it’s our honor to premiere a remix for “Blessing” off their B-sides and remix record, Remixes and Lost Tapes, out today.

The band has had a tumultuous but fruitful journey, and is on the cusp of a new season. They are celebrating what has been with the release of this record, and will be playing a show at the Musica in Akron, Ohio on June 17th. Brideshore, a fellow New Philadelphia based band (also one our 2017 Ohio Artists to Watch) will open the show with their brand of ambient, introspective rock. Last time I saw them they packed out Double Happiness and played a killer cover of “Grapevine Fires” by Death Cab for Cutie.

But, let’s celebrate Come Wind for a second here. I’ve seen them play alongside the likes of Sons, Graceful Closure, Oceanspeak, Project 86, Captain Kidd and more. I hope to make it up for what surely will be a special evening in Akron. They’ve been hyping it up for a while!

What do you think of the song? Does it live up to the breathtaking Move In Place record?
