Graceful Closure – “Unknown Land”: The indie pop trio reemerges with a more ethereal direction that is still pop enough to please even the most picky of their listeners. The track has a decidedly more hip hop feel in structure (but not in style). The falsetto hook at the end of the chorus is a nice touch, and overall this song is well crafted to be a hit this fall as the leaves turn and the days grow grayer.

Enter Ethox. His brand of EDM is thrilling and fun and is admittedly inspired by Game of Thrones (Lannisters as in House of Lannisters, ya know). He has earned the rapport of industry peers like Sultan and Ned Shepard, Karim Mika, Rob and Jack, DJs from Mars and Nawed Khan. Stream the track below and try not to bob your head.

The sample in this song is seriously so cool. It is songs like this that make me wish I knew my way around even some basic electronic gear so I might have some idea of what I’m talking about in technical terms. I’ll have to make do with how the song makes me feel, which is awesome. The song comes off their sophmore release, titled love and noir which will be out in the open November 18th.

Well, Pamela Hute creates a subtly eerie, er, banshee-like effect with her guitar work and more reserved vocal style. In spit of a banshee’s reputation of being unbearable to hear, this singer’s new single is anything but. This type of guitar tone gives me a feeling I don’t get a whole lot when listening to music these days, so, thank you Pamela.
