In the mailbox: Beautiful Disturbance, Michael Robinson

By Ryan G

Waco, TX based Beautiful Disturbance is a passionate female-fronted heavy rock group. Before you write this group off as another Fireflight or Flyleaf knockoff, take a listen. I found the vocals to be refreshing, and richer than much of what I hear on the scene today. The production could use some work, but this is generally the case with underground bands. The quartet is building a regional following by playing as many shows as they can and reaching out to whomever possible. Also of note is their positive message – listen and see. Check out their music video for “Nearly Forgotten” below:

Michael Robinson, of Melbourne, Australia also recently reached out to us. This guys’ work ethic is remarkable, given the quality of his new single, “Faith.” He self records, produces, promotes, designs artwork, the whole package. “Faith” is an alternative styling of a classic-rock influenced sound. I would recommend him if you enjoy an old great like Led Zeppelin or a new great like My Morning Jacket. The message is great too, and the lyrics are sung with soul. “Faith” is available for free download on his bandcamp page.
