Too random to ignore: Signature Brew

By Ryan G

Last year I wrote about Drinkify, an app that matches alcoholic drinks with artist preferences.  Well, one brewing company is taking this concept a bit farther.

Meet Signature Brew.  They were born out of a bevy of complaints about only being exposed to crummy beers at concert venues.  Essentially, they plan to work hand in hand with indie artists at their brewery, developing a beer that goes along with the mood of a particular artist’s music.  So far, they have introduced beers for Craig Finn of The Hold Steady and The Rifles, both UK artists.  While this business model make take a while to catch on and be profitable, its certainly creative and the more the company expands their roster of endorsements, obviously the better.  Watch a video below detailing the process Craig Finn went through in developing his brew and read more about it in this article at Hypebot.
