Is Ohio the next big festival state?

Joining the ranks of the Alive Festival (this year headlined by Casting Crowns, Chris Tomlin, Skillet and Red) and Rock on the Range (headlined this year by Incubus, Shinedown, Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie) will be Cincinnati’s inaugural Bunbury Festival, touted by its founder as the city’s “own Lollapalooza.”  Don’t believe it? Well, the headliners, announced today, are Death Cab for Cutie, Weezer, and Jane’s Addiction with about 100 more national, regional, and local acts to be revealed in March. The festival will feature 6 stages, and will take place July 13-15th.  One day tickets ($46) and event tickets ($93) have just gone on sale.  Good for the state or is the Midwest oversaturated with festivals? Discuss.
